I Will

I was talking with Swamiji and several others about a project that needed to be done. Someone complimented me for putting out a lot of energy and working hard. Self-effacingly I quipped, “I am a Willingness Monster.” (Referring to Master’s exhortation not to give in to the “Unwillingness Monster.”)

Swamiji approved of my attitude, but I think he wanted my self-concept to be entirely positive. Softly, with a sweet smile, he said, “No, you are not a ‘Willingness Monster.’ You are a ‘Willingness Princess.’”
